Nordost OPTIX - OX2 Super S-Video Cable

Optix Super S-Video cable from Nordost offers state of the art performance from all of your video components. By using separate Y/C signal, images are improved, dot crawl is reduced and the vertical and horizontal edges of colored images in the picture are improved. Optix Super S-Video takes this performance a stage further by using Nordost’s Micro Monofilament technology.

The use of silver-plated cable with shielded Monofilament technology offers superb chrominance and luminance with excellent picture quality. This cable has an extremely high speed of signal propagation (over 85% the speed of light) and a very low dielectric constant due to its unique construction. The Optix Super S-Video has an extremely low signal loss over long runs. Its signal loss is less that -1dB at 1 Megahertz and -1.4dB at 5 Megahertz over 30 meters (100ft). This cable is designed for use with DVD, satellite and other high resolution formats where perfect picture quality is a prerequisite. Optix is terminated with high quality Gold plated dedicated mini 4 pin S-Video connectors.
